Books
Toa of Jeet Kune Do
This book wasn't published until after his death when his wife collected all his notes and put them together in this textbook of his art. An invaluable resource in his own words and pictures.
Words of the Dragon
This book is the first in a series of Bruce Lee books called the Bruce Lee library. It includes some of the many interviews and articles that Bruce was in during his time in America and after his return to Hong Kong.
The Tao of Gung Fu
This was supposed to be the follow up to Bruce's first book, The Philosophical Art of Chinese Gung Fu, but was never published. It is now released as part of the Bruce Lee library and is an excellent book. Lots of new photos and Bruce's hand drawn pictures and research into the Chinese art of Gung Fu.
Jeet Kune Do : Bruce Lee's
Commentaries on the Martial Way
The third book in the Bruce Lee library covers the art of Jeet Kune Do and in doing so has a lot of the same information as The Tao of Jeet Kune Do. It seems more structured and in depth so it is easier to read. There are also many new photos and pictures.
The Art of Expressing the Human Body
The fourth in the Bruce Lee library documents the techniques Bruce used to reach his potential. It includes his training schedules and routines as well as his thoughts on nutrition. It is a great record and an invaluable source.
Bruce Lee: Artist of Life
A fascinating look at the man behind the myth Bruce Lee has been recognized primarily for his physical skills and tactical principles in the art of unarmed combat. But Bruce Lee: Artist of Life reveals that Lee was a man who was equal parts poet, philosopher, scientist, actor, producer, director, author, choreographer, martial artist, husband, father, and friend, dedicated to artistic expression with the goal of self-knowledge. Bruce Lee: Artist Of Life is a collection of writings comprising eight parts: writings on Chinese Gung Fu, philosophy, psychology, Jeet Kune Do, acting, and self- knowledge, as well as a section featuring Lee's poetry and letters, revealing a side of Bruce Lee rarely seen previously.
Fighting Methods
Series of four books published shortly after Bruce's death. They are small manuals of the art of Jeet Kune Do, each concentrating on a different aspect.
